A second state of the block —with a broad middle section of the lower border cut out— was printed by Juan Pablos in 1546, 1547, and 1553 (see Grañén Porrúa 2010, pp. 176-182).
Note 2
Losses in the Cromberger block persist in the Pablos block. See for example the three losses in the lower border (one towards the center and affecting both border lines; a second one to the left but affecting only the upper border line; a third one at angles with the right border and likewise affecting only the upper line).
